So Halloween and Bonfire Night are over for another year ... is it just me or was it a lot quieter this year? Especially Halloween! Maybe it’s because it was on a Saturday and most people went to organised parties. I guess that we’ll still be having lots of Fireworks this weekend and then we’ll be on full-on countdown to Christmas! I bought my first presents this week so it must be true!!!

There’s no Zebra rugby action this Saturday, courtesy of the first of the Autumn Internationals, but I still have some news and information for you ...

• We have a few tickets available for tomorrow’s Wales v New Zealand available. Contact Bryan James on 07791 541732 for details ... first come, first served.

• If you aren’t planning on going to Cardiff tomorrow, then why not join us at the clubhouse for a full afternoon of sport on the Big Screen ... Swansea City v Cardiff City at 12.30, England v Australia at 2.30 and then Wales v New Zealand at 5.15.

• The Zebras are on TV this evening. Treorchy is one of the teams on Jonathan Davies’s quiz programme Bwrw’r Bar. It’s on S4C at 9.30 pm so set your Sky+ and Videos if you’re going out.

• Don’t forget that the club’s annual Fireworks Display will take place on Sunday ... gates open at 5.00, display starts at 7.30. Pre-display entertainment includes a fire eater!

• The newly formed Women’s rugby team have their first match on Sunday 15th November. Opponents are Abercwmboi and kick-off is at 2.30 pm. It’s a big day for the girls who have been training since the summer. After the match there will be a bit of a party with live music from the Monophonics. Tickets are £3.00 and available from any of the women’s team.
